Jamaican colours to light up Empire State Building

The back green and gold of Jamaica’s flag will be displayed on the world-famous Empire State Building in New York City tonight Saturday, August 23, as the building highlights the countries participating in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China. The Empire state building is one of New York City’s biggest tourist attractions, hitting at the heart of Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, there are many visitors to who may enjoy visiting the tower. Jamaica’s colours will be seen on the north side of the building while the colours of Iran, Georgia and Norway will be seen on the other sides of the building. The Empire State Building is located at 350 Fifth Avenue, between 33rd and 34th Streets, in midtown Manhattan.
