It’s 46 years since Jamaica gained it’s independnce from Britain and the National Stadium came to life as tens of thousands of Jamaicans gathered to celebrate the milestone at a Grand Independence Gala put on by the government and it’s various agencies. The independence Gala was a massive sucess as the stadium was filled to capacity while hundreds of thousands of Jamaicans watched the Gala unfold in the comfort of their home.
